For one of our big clients we are looking for a business intelligence director.
As a business intelligence director you will be responsible for managing the team of over 30 consultants, business development, recruiting new junior, medior and senior profiles and leading projects at big clients yourself.
Your work will be divided as such:
1. Managing the team and recruitment: 20 to 40%
The current team is divided in junior, medior and senior profiles and it is your task to get the most out of them and to train and guide them to be excellent consultants and managers. You will have to make a roadmap for the company and determine in which way the company can grow the most for the long term within a world as business intelligence and big data which is of course always changing.
You will also be responsible for expanding the team to 40 or 50 consultants by recruiting especially senior profiles who can add value to the companies offering to the market.
2. Business development: 20 to 40%
You will be responsible for bringing in new clients to the company and to show the clients what your team can do for them.
From your network within business intelligence and big data you will bring leads to the account executives and together with them you will go to the client to present all that wat your team will be able to do for the client.
Excellent communication skills are therefor mandatory.
3. Leading projects: 20 to 40%
My client is a big believer in leading from the front and finds it therefor very important that the director also goes to clients to lead projects being executed by its team. In these projects you can be responsible as project manager and teamlead.
As a project manager you will be responsible for guiding the project in a correct way and before the project starts you will also be responsible for pricing the projects.
