The function

Our client is looking for a Master Data Governor who will get responsibility for the global and regional MDM processes, governance and data accuracy. There are some operational tasks which needed to be done such as identifying the right KPI’s. On the other hand this will be a high level, strategic position. In this global position, you are the point of contact for all regional stakeholders and you assist in setting and communicating the strategic direction for the MDM community. On a team-level you manage, motivate and coach a team of Master Data Management employees.

 

Some tasks that needs to be done:

  • Checking the process entry in MDM
  • Regularly reports the status of performance improvement efforts and impacts
  • Ensure data governance policies and implementation and take corrective action when data governance compliance falters
  • Ensure monthly high-quality reporting and analytics
  • Quality assurance
  • Monitoring the governance

 

Your profile

You have at least 5 years of MDM experience with knowledge of an appropriate ERP system (preferably SAP) in a master data management area. You’re able to manage internal stakeholders’ expectations, you have a good portion of business acumen and able to work in a changing environment. You’re fluent in English and you’re willing to work with colleagues from all over the world: Poland, Melbourne, etc. In order to coach a team, it’s a plus if you have worked in a teamlead/management position before.
