As an Application Support Specialist you will have quite a prominent position within the company. You will act like the liaison between IT and different business stakeholders (nationally/internationally). You as a business person will gather many requirements from different stakeholders in order to get insight into their use of business applications. The focus is to see how they use the applications, for what purposes and if the applications are used to their full potential. These applications can vary from standard business applications (max 15-20%), but mostly you will support stakeholders in using Yardi (ERP) and Knowledge Management System. Within this company you will find one of the highest Yardi experts in EU that will personally guide, coach and train you in using the software. Next to all this, this position will enable you to talk to many different stakeholders which will provide you with valuable insights that can be used by the EMEA office to get to know other countries better. This enables you to make a significant impact within the organisation!
Who are you?
Our client is looking for somebody with at least bachelor level (preferably business studies) with at least 2 to 3 years work experience. You speak English fluently (Dutch/French is a plus). Our client requires a person that is proactive, mature, trustworthy, empathic, patient, eager to learn, open minded, critical and helpful. Moreover, you need to be able to ask the right questions to be able to get to the core of the challenge/problem. Furthermore, you have a strong affinity with IT and wish to develop yourself more into this matter. Also, you are someone who is able to build bridges between different departments and you have a flexible mindset to coope with sudden changes that may occur at any moment of the day. Travel is up to 25% on a monthly basis (e.g. Düsseldorf, Prague, Paris, and more).
