Data Engineer (interest in IoT)
The Datawarehousing team of a good client of mine in region of Limburg is looking for a strong Data Engineer to help them to improve their Big Data, with a big interest for IoT or with a willingness to learn. Your mainrole will be to support the businessneeds by strengthening their data usage.
Responsibilities:
Prepare plans and ensure implementation of dataflows
Plan and develop various database schemas
Data analyses
Maintain and develop all physical data models for data sets
Expertise on datastorage, data mining and data cleansing
Designing database
Processing and monitoring data and information
Work closely together with several teams as: data architects, data scientists, etc.
Profile:
Looking for a medior profile who already has experience in one of the main BI/Data technologies (SAS, Oracle, SQL Server,..)
Will join the DWH Engineering-team
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or IT
Focus on IoT, willingness to learn
Collaborative, team focus; communication skills
Strong proven analytical skills
Knowledge of a BI reporting tool (e.g. Microsoft Power BI);
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plus
Fluent written and spoken English, FR/NL is a plus
